room comfort but building issues
The bed in my room was surprisingly comfortable! I appreciated the quick check-in service, made my arrival seamless. Found a good local restaurant just a short walk away. The outdoor area is quaint.
The building's condition left much to be desired, with visible leaks and maintenance issues.

The hotel was a great base for enjoying a good area, adjacent to the centre as well as Kettering. The employees were AMICABLE and polite. Liked the double room I was given, it had multi-channel TV, a coffee maker and a study table. A bath in the private bathroom was a plus. The place was recently refurbished, nothing too much trouble, would recomand.

Should you go for it? My answer
I stayed for one night in a Single Room. The highlight was the friendly staff at reception, were really good to assist. Clean bathroom and comfortable bed were nice, but the decor felt quite basic and outdated. If you seek simplicity, this could be just right!

The staff were friendly and made check-in easy, while the secure car park gave us peace of mind. The bedding appeared clean, which pleased us as a family.
The room we received did not meet our expectations and was not as advertised.

The outdoor area has potential charisma with a pleasant appearance manipulating an appealing first impression. The bed offered decent comfort, albeit in a room that felt excessively basic.
The state of the building is concerning, with visible issues like a sagging ceiling on the second floor and water catching buckets due to leaks. The parking situation was dismal, forcing me to park a short walk away in a paid lot costing an extra £4. Noise from rowdy guests at odd hours created a sense of insecurity. Certain rooms had an unsettling atmosphere, with signs of long-term stays contributing to discomfort.

Found a gem with the local dining scene! Just a stone's throw away, I hit up Jurassic Grill for some lip-smacking eats and Wildwood served up good dishes that had me buzzing. On top of that, the WiFi actually worked well, so I could mask my hotel woes with some Netflix.
But mate, as much as I'd love to rave, the room was like it hadn't seen a scrub in years-stains galore and the water stayed chilly! The dodgy car park situation gave off serious unsafe vibes too.

This place was just a commendable fit for a weekend adventure in Kettering with high value for money. They had a quick check-in service, made the process smooth. Try to avoid noisy areas if you're looking for some peace at night.

The carpets were in poor condition, giving off an unpleasant odor, prompting me to seek alternative lodging quickly. Limited amenities and dated decor contributed to a lack of comfort. A nearby Japanese restaurant provided a nice culinary distraction during my brief time in the area.

During my stay, the bed offered comfort, and the TV provided entertainment. The room's basic decor felt dated. While I appreciated the cute vibe, some disturbances from neighboring rooms could be noted. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my short visit overall.
